A LONG LASTING SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP

Upon Qatar Steel Co. request to increase the production of existing Cimprogetti’s kilns, a specific survey followed by Cimprogetti expert on site has been carried out to ascertain the current working conditions of the whole plant. The modification works on both kilns and transports occurred in year 2015, during which the exploitation stops have been minimized to avoid loss in production and quality.

After interventions and modifications on software, hardware and miscellaneous equipment, the production of the two existing kilns Cim-TD has been successfully increased from 275 tpd to 350 tpd. Both kilns are producing quicklime and dololime upon client demand.

Another success that demonstrates the close cooperation between Qatar Steel Co. and Cimprogetti confirming the high skills level of the technical staff that operated in every phase of this challenging project.
